KENNETH LIM


Ken has been coaching at the club and high school levels for boys and girls ages 11-16. Early in his coaching career, Ken served as the Frosh/Soph coach at Rowland High School where he led the team to a league championship. He also assisted the Varsity team and coached the JV team for 1 season leading them to earn the title of Summer League Champions. He continued his coaching career at Bishop Amat HS, and spent 3 seasons as the girls JV coach and 1 season as the boys JV coach, all while assisting the Varsity team for both programs.

Ken is in his 7th season as Girls Frosh/Soph A Head Coach at San Juan Hills HS and 5th season as Boys JV assistant coach. His girl's Frosh/Soph team finished back-to-back league champions inn 2021 & 2022. Ken and his teams have also finished 1st (2021) and 3rd (2019) at the Queens Court Tournament. His boys JV team claimed the 2022 league champions title as well as 2nd and 3rd place finishes in 2022 tournaments. 

Kenneth has learned that patience and communication can lead to great things. His goals are simple: share his love of the sport while instilling that feeling of passion with each player while creating an environment for constant learning and improvement. He believes in the process and with proper technique and positive encouragement, he knows he can get the best out of each athlete. He truly enjoys watching the growth of players he coaches.

Ken is a husband and a father of 3 girls who've all played or are currently playing for Prime. 

Ken has been coaching for 19 years and has been coaching at Prime for 11 years.
