🩵 BRYNN’S PLACE 🩵 Yesterday we honored someone very special to our Prime Family, Brynn Wheeler. Brynn loved her friends and teammates at Prime and would have enjoyed having a spot outside to chat and joke around with her team. Brynn was fearless. She fought cancer like she played volleyball. She never gave up. Her coaches and teammates dedicated our new seating area and mini garden at the entrance to our gym to Brynn as we created a space and planted flowers that are friendly and bright, just like Brynn. She began playing volleyball in 6th grade and went on to compete in both beach and indoor volleyball for the collegiate club teams at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering. Abby has coached at Laguna Beach Volleyball Club and Granada High School in her hometown of Livermore, California. When she’s not on the court, she works as an engineer at Applied Medical, located right across the street from Prime. Her favorite part of coaching is helping players build confidence both on and off the court. With over 40 years of coaching experience at the college, varsity, and club levels, Lynn brings unmatched expertise to the court. Kendall Nolan will lead our 13 Molten team this season! Kendall brings six years of coaching experience and is entering her fourth season at Prime. She has previously coached our 17 adidas, 13 Blue, and 12 adidas squads and is currently the Head Frosh/Soph coach at Crean Lutheran High School where she’s led her team to back-to-back league titles. Kendall played volleyball for 11 years, winning a CIF Championship with Santa Margarita Catholic High School. She went on to play indoor volleyball at Saddleback College, earning All-Conference honors, and beach volleyball at Irvine Valley College, where her team placed 3rd in State and she and her partner were named All-Conference. Kendall then transferred to the University of Portland to continue playing beach volleyball while earning her Bachelor’s degree in Marketing.
